About BBYC

Ballena Bay Yacht Club is an all volunteer, non profit organization with approximately 180 members. The club is located in picturesque Ballena Isle Marina on the western side of Alameda, California. From this location members have immediate access to San Francisco Bay.

The goal of the BBYC is to enhance its members' boating experiences through a wide range of social and educational activities. The photograph at left shows Ballena Isle Marina with the San Francisco skyline in the distance.

BBYC programs and events include cruise-outs to Bay Area yacht clubs and visitors from other clubs; fabulous dinners most Saturday evenings; The Whale’s Tale monthly newsletter available in print or as a PDF file on this site; an active racing program and much more.
